“ODNR – call 614-265-6300 to report coyotes.  Small children and pets should be watched closely as coyotes are not afraid of people and will go after smaller things.”

Feral Cat Population
Your help is needed to identify colony locations.  Salem’s trap-neuter-release (TNR) team strives to control over-population.  There is an ongoing need for these volunteer services (email or to get involved): one or more hours cage trapping, transporting caged animals to or from surgery, 24-hr post-surgery caged aftercare, colony feedings, food donations, discount food coupons, shelter constructions, any other offers of assistance.

She has been our dog since a puppy. 8 years old and spayed. Contact 614-270-0115 or 614-305-6228 if spotted. We live in Salem Village and she always returns. Has a chip and we are actively searching sites and shelter. Thanks for any help.

I asked Salem Civic’s communication officer, Holly Rast, to post your info on facebook and broadcast your message neighborhood-wide from our email address I don’t have access to either of these media sites. I’ve seen your signs posted across the RR tracks, too. I hope you soon find your dog. Brenda Baker, SCA member.
